Osu Kannon (大須観音) is the home of a popular temple in central Nagoya. Moved from its original location in the neighboring Gifu Prefecture, the Osu Kannon Temple was moved to its current site in 1612; the current buildings are 20th century reconstructions. A flea market is held on the temple grounds twice a month, while the adjacent shopping arcade offers Japanese souvenirs and a large variety of other goods every day.
